Introducing Upgraded Linear Engines & Exciting New Options

After introducing the L2 1700KN/KP engines at the end of last year, we are happy to announce that the L1, L1 See-Thru, and L3 engines now offer the same upgrades and more! The 1500J, 1600J, and 1800J engines have been updated to 1500K, 1600K, and 1800K model designations to incorporate the Valor 10 remote system, V-Class burner technology, an adjustable air shutter, and new front & media options.

New Linear Engines are App Compatible

Valor 10 Remote Control System

Standard on "K" Linear Engines

The 1500K, 1600K, 1700K, and 1800K engines will now utilize the recently introduced Valor 10 remote control. The remote offers two-way communication and tactile buttons for improved user feedback. New features include childproofing, a countdown timer and improvements to other GV60 functions such as operation and program modes.

Control your LX and Linear models with the Valor 10 App

Select Valor gas fireplaces now offer the ability to control your fireplace from the all new Valor 10 remote app, available for iOS and Android devices. Take full control of your fireplace with intuitive and interactive options - including the ability to program your fireplace, set a countdown timer, and integrate child safety locks.

The Valor 10 remote app is available on fireplaces that are compatible with the GV60WiFi system which includes the Valor 10 remote control and a WiFi receiver box.

New Birch, Driftwood, and Traditional Log Media

New Birch Log Sets

Birch log sets (1500BLK/1700BLK/1800BLK) for linear fireplaces are now available. The birch logs offer a relaxing, radiant fire within the firebox that will create a beautiful ambiance in any living space.

New Stacked Stone Liners

To go along with the introduction of the birch log set, a new stacked stone liner (1540SSL/1740SSL/1840SSL) is now available. The stacked stone liner complements the fire to create a vibrant flame picture and looks great whether the unit is on or off. Please note that the stacked stone liner will replace the limestone liner going forward.

V-Class Burner

New stainless steel V-Class burners are chock full of innovation - the enhanced flames and glowing embers maximize radiate warmth efficiently. The new burner offers richly hued, radiant glow amidst high-definition logs. Easy access to the air shutter makes set-up quick and easy for your installers.

Improved Burner Performance

Our new stainless steel design has improved combustion and flame appearance across all of our linear models. Propane (LP) engines especially benefit from the new design, providing a much more consistent and vibrant fire.

Adjustable Air Shutter

Easy access to the air shutter makes set-up quick and easy. The lever is accessible in front of the firebox below the window, as shown above, saving considerable time for your installers and service technicians.

NEW 1" Clean Install Fronts

1530CIK, 1730CIK, 1830CIK - Now Available

To go along with the changes listed above, we will now be offering a new 1" clean install front on all linear models. The CIK's offer an improved fine mesh design and the ability to have wall finishes applied and butted directly up to the outer frame. The style of the CIK is similar to the popular H3 kit, which has been very well received.

Please note that the Valor HeatShift System IS REQUIRED when installing the CIK front.

1800DWKV2

Improved Driftwood for the L3

The L3 driftwood kit has been upgraded to the 1800DWKV2 to include a larger back log design for an improved and more consistent flame picture.

1595CFKV2 Circulating Fan Kit

For use with models 1500K, 1700K and 1800K Linear fireplaces

K model linear engines have been designed to accommodate the installation of an optional 150CFM air circulation fan, designed to boost the natural convection through the heater. This may be desirable depending on the location of the fireplace or the room layout.

The Valor 10 remote allows users to easily control the fan directly from the handset.

Please note that the GV60VM V-Module kit (sold separately) IS REQUIRED to provide power and speed control to the fan.

Front and Accessory Phase Outs

3 ½" and 5 ¼" Brushed Nickel and Bronze Fronts

Please be aware that the 3 ½" and 5 ¼" fronts in brushed nickel and bronze that are compatible with the L1, L1 See-Thru and L2 gas fireplaces will be phased out over the next few months as stock is depleted.

Black Fronts to Remain in Program

The 1550LSBv2, 1750LSBv2, and 18050LSB black surround options will remain as a part of the L1, L1 See-Thru, L2, and L3 programs going forward.

1730PL1 Photo Liner

The 1730PL1 photo liner will be phased out once stock has been depleted. The photo liner will be available at a reduced price on the Valor Clearance Price List.
